Want-Haves: Croc And Then Some
My Want-Haves list has been getting exceptionally long lately.
Fall has been teasing us here in LA.
A rainy day followed by a weekend in the mid 80's.
To be honest, it can be quite frustrating for fashion mavens like myself.
Do I wear my faux fur vest over my polka dot bikini?
I really do not know.
That being said my fashion heart beats for the mustards, croc-embossed, and faux furs of the fabulous season that awaits us.
Currently on my Want-Have List:
Wednesday, October 24
Monday, October 22
Sunday, October 21
Wednesday, October 17
Tuesday, October 16
Monday, October 15

From the Lens: Tre Chic
For me, rainy days or should I say rainy sick days
are always filled with photography and books.
Laying in my satin plum sheets I alternate between runways shows and editorials,
then move onto the pile of books on my nightstand.
Today, is one of those days.
I decided to check the website of my favorite photographer Signe Vilstrup
and spent a good hour and a half browsing her many albums.
The one that inspired me the most was an editorial for Elle.
Unfortunately, I can not find any information on this shoot other than what is on her website!
All I know is that the styling is SO on trend with this season.
The neck-tie blouse, the high-waisted trousers, and the warm color palette.
If anyone knows what month and year this was published in please let me know!
Happy Rainy Thursday and let's hope I get better soon for some outfit posts.

A bit of EJC: Night Crawler
Just a taste of what's to come on Stiletto Beats.
I got together with my dope photographer friend Eric I. when the sun set below the horizon.
Grimy streets, some fur, some plaid, and a lot of attitude.

The Classics: Springs Best Run-a-way Shoes
New York all the way to Paris.
Examine, ponder, analyze.
I noticed an interesting mix of super clunky, mixed with super sleek designs.
What I love most about runway shoes is that they are all so different.
There is no clear direction.
Each designer does what they please and it's quite refreshing.
My top picks from each show?
All things pretty.
J. Mendel from New York
Mulberry from London
Gucci from Milan
Muglar from Paris
Perfect shades, prints, and overall shoe silhouettes.
I love.

Bren X Bang-Style
Last Thursday I attended the Bren X Bang-Style Preview which was an absolute blast!
Having a day-job prevents me from attending many fun blogger events held in LA
but I finally was able to make it to one...bright and early.
The preview "breakfast" was held at Bollare, a boutique PR firm based here in So-Cal.
I met Jessica of Bollare who took me to a room filled with clothing, champagne, and hair treats!
The collection, Bren was founded by identical sisters Brie and Jenny who wanted to create a line that was multi-functional.
Almost all of their pieces are reversible, comfy, and of course modern with clean cut silhouettes.
The second half of the preview was dedicated to Bang-Style.
Bang-Style is the first ever social media community dedicated to HAIR.
You can browse styles, create fun inspirational boards, and find reviews all in one spot.
Check out my A La Feminine Inspirational Board featured on their homepage!
Thank you to Bren, Bang-Style and Bollare for this awesome fun-filled morning!

A bit of EJC: Hey Ho, Let's Go!
If you've been keeping up with Fashion Week you have noticed the slew of graphic tees.
Mickey Mouse, a Shark, some sayings here and there.
I've been donning graphic tees since forever!
Seeing them so close to the fabulous fashion tents made me love them that much more.
I pulled out my Joey Ramone men's tank - (it is oversized perfection) and paired it with
my super itty-bitty Jenni Kayne mini purchased from Julie of Sincerely, Jules.
Having some fun with my hair these days I decided to go A La Jasmine meets The Kardashian's
with a pony tail cinched two times down the line!
It is way too hot in So-Cal to keep my hair down.
In honor of my tee I thought I would feature my favorite Ramones ram Blitzkrieg Bop...
Hey Ho, Let's Go!

A bit of EJC: Bumble Bee
I've always struggled with denim.
It may be my Armenian genes that make my lower half a bit particular but when I slipped on these
MiH Marrakesh flares I knew I had met my denim match!
High-waisted (at least on a shorty like me), with a beautiful kick flare
these pants hugged all my curves in all the right places.
I paired them with my recently purchased vintage Anne Klein Bumble Bee blouse
and of course had to wear my sky-high JC 4EVZ that disappeared under the hem.
I'm making a key effort to incorporate pants in my wardrobe for this Fall!
