I’m a firm believer that people dress (more or less) depending on their location.
Countries, states and cities all have a tiny bit of influence in what we decide to wear.
Weather conditions, transportation and even the general vibe of the city effects people’s day to day wardrobe.
I remember spending five months in Italy on my Study Abroad program and feeling extremely out of place because of my choice of clothing.
In a sea of The North Face parkas you would see a tiny 5’2 frame in a Zara belted trench coat.
*insert crying from laughter face emoji
I was used to overly dress up because of my city…Los Angeles.
And being so young at the time, I believed that I needed to dress up.
Now, it’s not to say that Los Angeles’ “style” is dress to impress.
Actually, it’s quite the contrary.
Relaxed, easy going and trendy are the words I would use to describe LA but then again there are SO many different pockets of this vast and beautiful city…
It’s really hard to generalize the melting pot of LA.
The #WeAreUSA Boohoo campaign is all about celebrating who you are in your city!
I chose to channel that relaxed feel yet still stay true to my feminine style.
I paired a Boohoo oversized blouse (which I unbuttoned for some added sexy appeal) with a staple white denim mini skirt and strappy heels.
My #WeAreUSA is chill meets city girl chic!
I’d love to know what your #WeAreUSA style is and more importantly….
What city your from?!
