A Play on Neutrals

When in doubt play with neutrals! I am a firm believer that when you're standing in front of your closet with "nothing to wear" *insert eye roll, start with a neutral item and work your way from there. It's a fail safe method to creating an effortless look.

That's exactly what I did with this outfit here. I played with taupes, grays and tans and in the end even if the hues were not exactly the same they still managed to compliment each other nicely. I paired a luscious Lumiere turtle neck sweater with a Missguided wrap mini skirt, and as you can tell I couldn't decide wether to keep the sweater tucked in or out. The struggle was real guys!

My favorite part about this ensemble were the details: my Forever 21 pumps that are so vintage-esq, the lady-like Melie Bianco top handle bag and of course the Tortoise print round Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses.

  4. This is a great outfit!! You are right, when we "have nothing to wear" and we are in front of the closet with no inspiration, going for neutrals o for basics is the best option. Love your style!
