Travel Diary: London + Amsterdam

I wasn't going to do a travel post about my recent adventure in London and Amsterdam but a ton of you asked so I thought it would be nice to do a recap! About a week ago I went to visit my blogger gal pal Enocha in London, she's currently living there for a few months. I booked the trip on a whim and off I went with no expectations and nothing planned.

I tend to shy away from super touristy things so we walked past Big Ben (which was under construction) and of course Buckingham Palace but what I enjoyed the most was the local, every day things. If you're into that kind of trip you must:

-Visit The Ned Hotel, if only for their epic bathroom
-Have breakfast at Ozone Coffee Roasters
-Spend a day in Shoreditch, Vintage lovers dream
-Have coffee/lunch at Blueprint Cafe, it overlooks the water and London Bridge

We decided to book a weekend trip to Amsterdam, neither of us had been! And that was probably the best decision of the whole trip. Amsterdam truly stole my heart.
We stayed at the exquiste Pulitzer Amsterdam, I seriously couldn't even dream of a more beautiful hotel. Our suite was so lush and luxurious I didn't want to leave our room. Every inch of the hotel was magic.
Amsterdam wins in every category (other than weather)! Breakfast was phenomenal and we had the most delicious pancakes at Ree7. The people were so kind, the architecture was unlike anything I had charming and colorful.

On our last day in Amsterdam we met up with Iris of A Dash of Fash (sweetest girl ever) at an Instagram worthy place with the craziest milkshake I have ever seen! For Amsterdam I would suggest:

-Having breakfast at Ree7
-Checking out the insane milkshakes at The Corner Bakery
-Visting the Redlight District (it's not the bad!)
-Checking out the Prostitue Museum...SO interesting

Don't forget an umbrella...Amsterdam was the rainiest city I have ever been to!

Where should I go next? I want 2018 to be my travel year before kids...
