I stood in front of my closet the other day, blank-eyed, staring aimlessly at what I should wear for the day. And then I realized something…I had about eight white lace blouses…all similar, yet beautifully unique.
It dawned on me how much I love this clothing item and how inherently drawn to it I am. If there is ever a white lace blouse in a store it’s the first thing I pick up and the one item I purchase without a second thought.

What’s absolutely amazing about this piece is that it is so versatile and so easily layered. To me, it’s the one layering item everyone needs in their closet.
I love wearing a white lace blouse under a jumpsuit, overalls, a dress, a pinafore…and the list goes on. You can wear it under a sweater with peak-a-boo sleeves and of course under a classic black blazer. It’s effortlessly feminine and romantic.
The stares when wearing this outfit were constant. I’m not sure if it was the fact that the outfit bordered a 1970’s costume or because it was just plain ol’ good fashun! Hope this look inspires you to get your layer on.

I love a good white blouse!! This one is slightly not practical for how many children I have hahaha! Washing dishes would be impossible but I love the way it looks! 👌🏽
