If you follow me on Instagram you may know that I was in Las Vegas a few weeks ago! I was invited to cover the JCK Las Vegas Jewelry show as an Influencer and it felt so full circle to be there.

Why you might ask?

Well, about 5 – 6 years ago I was working as an assistant to a jewelry designer attending these shows. At the time I was hobby blogging, trying to make a name for myself. It felt surreal to attend the show as an Influencer…I had a “wow…I really made this happen” moment.

I took my mom along with me…she is my first photographer after all and we spent two days walking the show discovering all the beautiful jewels! She was in awe and it felt so nice to share this experience with her. We would visit the Press Lounge every morning for a coffee and some pastries, strategize our shots and head out for the day.

I had a few must-stop by booths on my list, one of which was Julie Vos. I was introduced to Julie Vos this year at the Fashion Awards show and quickly fell in love with her collection. Rich gold tones and pretty gems were displayed plus I had to snap a photo of the girl working the booth because her jewels against the bright pink blazer were absolutely exquisite! I need that whole set in my life! PS. Julie Vos pieces make the perfect gift, the price point is great and the pieces are so unique. Can we have a moment for the bee bracelet?

I also visited Kendra Scott which I have always loved. I decided to focus on visiting more of the fashion jewelry at the show because that’s what I personally purchase. Don’t get me wrong I love a good diamond ring but I wanted the pieces I showcased to be attainable rather than $10k 🙂

Lastly, I wanted to visit and show some love to up-and-coming designers. I really love to support the underdogs (maybe because I always have felt like I was one)! L Klein had reached out to me via Instagram DM and I thought it was so sweet so I popped into her booth and was blown away! I particularly loved her Fiore collection which featured this delicate and floral design in 18k gold. Her pieces are all handmade in Italy and truly classic pieces.

After we wrapped up the show my momma and I spent some time under the LV sun! It was a sweet little trip I will cherish forever.

Thank you to the JCK team for having me!
