We are down to the wire guys! Only a few short weeks left and I finally finished packing my hospital bag. I didn’t over pack because I’ve read and heard that the hospital provides a lot of the essentials for you and baby. Think pads, diapers, pacifiers etc. they have you covered!
I skipped packing the necessities and instead focused on “luxury” items I knew the hospital would not have. A fresh set of my own bath towels, my plush home robe…I don’t take these things for granted! I want my hospital stay to be as pleasant as possible (under the circumstances were in haha). Below is a list of the extra good stuff I packed in my hospital bag:
Toiletries: Lip balm, face wash, moisturizer, deodorant, face wipes, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, hair ties. I simply put all my travel/sample size things in a small bag since I *hope we won’t be there for long!
For Baby I packed light as well. Just his coming home outfit, socks, a beanie, the Newborn Nest set I was gifted that makes for cute initial photos and some blankets.
