As you guys know I recently chopped my hair into a sleek long bob…it was time for a change and I had been dreaming of shorter locks for quite some time. Note: if you are thinking about going for the chop I highly recommend it! The feeling is so liberating. Try it out for the New Year!

With my new do it was important for me to really nail down a hair care routine that worked! I have fine, wavy hair with oily roots and dry ends. It was a constant struggle to handle combination hair for me, over-washing it to cleanse my roots which led to dry ends…which led to using moisturizing/oily products, which led to greasy hair again! It was a vicious cycle but I finally found the magic product, the L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay line.

I use the L’Oréal Extraordinary Clay Pre-Shampoo Mask on my roots while I soak in the bath to completely cleanse and get rid of any build up. This is actually the first hair mask I have ever used and I’m hooked. It smells fantastic and really absorbs the oil and impurities from my scalp. After 5 minutes, I turn on the shower and use the Shampoo to wash from roots to ends. What I love about the shampoo is that it doesn’t leave my ends dry.

A quick blow dry and I literally feel like I stepped out of a salon! My hair has never looked so fresh.
