A few weeks ago I took a mini road trip with my best friend Jenna to Arizona. We both had been wanting to visit Scottsdale and just relax and unwind for a few days. I had forgotten how fun road trips can be…especially with a best friend. I don’t think there was silence in that car for more than 2 seconds!

The Scott Resort had been on my mind since late last year and it was the perfect place to stay while in Scottsdale! I knew I would love it from Instagram alone but once we drove up to the valet I knew it would be one of my favorite resorts of all time! It was. The decor and attention to detail was incredible. It left me feeling so inspired to come home and decorate my place!

We only had two full days in Arizona, one was spent at the resort lounging by the pool and riding their courtesy bikes (or in my case posing with one, you guys know I can’t ride a bike for the life of me!).

The Canal Club, their restaurant and bar was possibly the most beautiful hotel restaurant I have ever been to! The teal colored walls and mustard yellow booths…the retro palm print pillows. I felt like I was living in another time. I had the pancakes for breakfast one morning which I HIGHLY recommend!

We spent our second day driving 1.5 hrs to Tuscon to visit Saguaro National Park and San Xavier Misson! It was a mission indeed but it was nice to have a trip within a trip and see some more of Arizona.

I think I’ll make a habit of short road trips from here on out.
